Believe it or not we’ve left the shortest day of the year behind us and it’s almost mid-winter. While it’s so tempting to stay cosy indoors than to sweat it out at class just think of the catch up with your tribe you’d miss out on. And there’s no substitute for how amazing you feel after a Jungle Body class. Don’t you think when you feel like that, anything is possible. You are unstoppable. The energy is contagious, so much so you might even get around to tackling the ironing mountain. Ok, too far, I agree. But those hideous chores are so much more approachable when you have a better attitude and that’s just one of the many benefits of exercise. Not least of all there’s the fact that you were the one who put the active wear on and got yourself there. You did it. Nobody else made you. So go on and feel good about it. A real victory and tick in the Me box for the day. High 5 hooray!
Ok, time for an update. Our 4 week “Do It For You” Challenge ended recently and I am so happy to tell your that the wonderful Aileen won our attendance challenge with 14 out of 16 classes. Pic below of our challenge ladies, Aileen pictured on the left.
Fancy being part of our next challenge? I’d love to hear from you so drop me an email and I’ll give you the details.
Love ‘em or loath ‘em there’s no hiding from ‘em. Yes, those school holidays are just around the corner but don’t let that interrupt your fitness goals or routine. In fact, I actually find that I need routine even more than usual during this time so bring the kids along to Jungle Body. We’ve got a Kids Konga on Saturday 30th July at 10am. It won’t break the bank either as it’s only $10 for your first child then $5 thereafter. Added bonus; the kids will have used up loads of energy too so you won’t feel so bad having a lazy day home afterwards.
Date for your diary; Wednesday 4th July
Yes it’s time to accessorize in neon or bring out your Material Girl for Jungle Body 80s Night. Song requests; hit me up here .
More dates to note please guys; I’ll be closed for the second week of the school holidays so that’s 9th-14th July inclusive. Classes resume on Monday 16th July.
And just a reminder about the Jungle Body BURN program. It’s every Saturday 8.30am at Bedford RSL Hall. We use light weight dumbbells and crank up the awesome tunes to add strength and toning to your weekly workout. Focusing on functional & high repetition movements, you'll burn fat, gain strength and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning. Rather than doing weights in a boring & tedious environment - BURN!
No need to book. Just rock up. It’s suitable for everyone; beginners and all fitness levels.
Those summer bods are helped along in winter so pull on your brightest active wear pants and I’ll see you in class.
